St. John Neumann's Divine Mercy devotion group meets on Friday (schedule permitting) at 3pm.
The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy is sung unless music is not available then it is prayed. After the Chaplet we have 5 minutes of silent prayer which is followed by reading and discussing one paragraph from The Diary of St. Faustina. We close with a hymn of Thanksgiving. On first Fridays along with the chaplet we Contemplate on the five wounds of Jesus. If you are new to The Divine Mercy devotion, please come and see what it's about.
Per the Diary page 24 paragraph 47, Jesus says, "Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I Trust In You. I desire that this image be venerated first in your Chapel, and (then) throughout the world."
Page 139 paragraph 300, Jesus says, "+Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My Mercy."
These are just a few gems from the Diary to reflect on.
The Hour of Great Mercy is from 3pm to 4pm, or 3am to 4am. Jesus wants the chaplet to be prayed every day, but if you are unable you can recite during this hour, "Jesus, I Trust In You" three times while meditating on his Passion.
